We are parents with a passion for building and design, which is why we put a lot of thought, care and attention to detail into our playhouses. Function and fun intersect in the well-designed floor plans. With whimsical details, engaging design elements, and a touch of authentic Austin charm, our playhouses pop and stand out amongst the competition.

• We are a true mom-and-pop shop! Our playhouses are home grown—built with love in Austin, Texas. They capture the true Austin ethos and aesthetic vibe, seamlessly fitting into your local neighborhood landscape.

• Shanna has a background in early childhood education, school counseling, and interior design. This gives her a unique perspective and advantage when designing each playhouse. The final result is a playhouse that is aesthetically pleasing, developmentally appropriate, engaging, and filled with lots of opportunity for learning.

• Your playhouse is delivered already assembled and ready to play! As parents, we understand the value of time.

• All playhouses in the Hyde Park Collection are wired by a professional electrician and contain all the bells and whistles: electricity, lights, a/c, and a doorbell.

• An a/c unit comes standard in playhouses with electricity…because it’s Texas!

• All Hyde Park playhouses come with attractive and functional built-ins. Some of the possible options include: a kitchen, a market/bakery, baby crib, boat dashboard, desk, and bookshelf. The design is very versatile to accommodate hours of engrossing, hands-on play.

• Each Hyde Park playhouse comes adorned with stylish light fixtures and finishes. The fanciful and bright design touches create an extraordinary environment for fun to unfold.

• Our playhouses are built to last and designed to fit most yards. We chose a size that makes it possible to move the playhouse. If you relocate, you can move the playhouse to your new home. When your kid(s) outgrow it, it is possible to resell it, or you can keep it for your future grandkids.

• Character matters. While we endeavor to create beautiful exteriors, we are proud to be building character on the inside, too. A copy of the inspirational children’s book, The ABCs of Kindness, is a gift with your purchase of a playhouse. We donate 1% of the profit to children in our community. Your family gets to choose between these three charities: Helping Hands Home for Children, Wish Connection, or Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas.
